Cage Rage 25 Preview Part One

With company making a habit of delivering a major announcement in advance of every event, tt is almost traditional now that the fights themselves feel like the least newsworthy item when previewing a Cage Rage show.

In recent times we have seen the implementation of drug testing, witnessed a change in ownership with Gary Shaw’s Pro Elite becoming prominent shareholders and watched as Sky television began broadcasting the events live on their sports channels.

Cage Rage 25 takes place this Saturday evening at London’s Wembley Arena and true to form there is another new issue to get people talking.

Well, the unfathomable truth is dear reader, whilst universally recognised (at least in my street) as one of the pillars of the MMA journalism community, I - and even Total MMA as a whole - have previously been accused of bias in our coverage. I kept it quiet at the time for the good national morale but nothing stays a secret forever.

Julius Francis To Make MMA Debut!

This has been a rumour circling amongst journalists over the last couple of weeks and we are happy to confirm that on Thursday the 31st July, British Heavyweight boxer Julius Francis and his opponent Gary “Smiler” Turner will be officially signing the contracts during a public press conference to be held at 12pm in the World famous Peacocks gym, Caxton Street North, Canning Town, London
