		<description>To be fair, the UFC did send a message that winning counts by releasing Gurgel despite his string of fight of the night bonuses. That doesn't rectify the problem, but does ameliorate it somewhat.</description>

		<description>I really don't see any wrongdoing by Davis. He basically just made a challenge which he knew favored him.

It's actually hard for me to get too worked up about Lytle, who will never be a champion, making a statement like that, either. I agree that he should be trying to win, and the UFC should be making it more worthwhile for him.</description>
